Springtime in Japan

Antarctica was truly amazing – a land of indescribable, raw beauty. My photos tell the story – check out my Travel Archive. But, after two weeks back at home, where there’s still snow on the ground, it’s time for another change of pace. So, I’m off to Hong Kong to see the sites, and then on to Japan for a week travelling around Honshu with my nephew. Spring is cherry blossom time, and it should be spectacular. De ha mata!

Heading Way Down Under

The year is off to a great start! So far I’ve spent a week in Scottsdale, AZ, a week in Charleston, SC, and a few weeks at my country property finishing up some interior design projects and organizing my home gym and recording studio. But, it’s been a cold winter in Canada, so it’s time to head south. Way south. All the way south. As in Antarctic south. Buenos Aires, Ushuaia and The Ice! Check out my Travel Archive.

November in California

The weather in Canada can be pretty miserable in November, so I’ve headed to the central California coast for a month to enjoy all that the Santa Cruz area has to offer  – warm days, cool nights, pleanty of sunshine and some great mountain biking and golf. And, of course, a laid-back vibe. Check out my Travel Archive and my play-eat-sleep-repeat-videos on YouTube.

Back in the Mountains

What a great summer!  Spent most of it putting some finishing touches on my country house and enjoying this year’s amazing summer weather.  But, all work and no play is no way to enjoy retirement, so I’m back in beautiful Colorado with friends for another week of mountain biking, this time in the bike parks at Winter Park and Mt. Crested Butte.  Check out my Travel Archive.  Also check out my play-eat-sleep-repeat videos on YouTube.

Off To Colorado

Summer is off to a great start!  In three months home, I’ve bulit another mile and a half of mountain bike trails, have been riding a lot, and have golfed a few rounds.  But, summer also means that the high alpine is snow-free, so I’m headed to Colorado for ten days to ride the Rockies and high desert in Aspen/Snowmass, Fruita/Grand Junction and Crested Butte.  Check out my Travel Archive.
